This feature will show user missing data, inconsistencies in the model, dependency related problems between model objects and any problem that would make the deployment of Identity Manager fail. The Project Checker view is accessible from Window -> Show View -> Project Checker.
Drop down menu on the project checker lets you view your problems in a flat or hierarchical layout. You can create filters to show only the model types or severity you would like to see. You can also run the filter directly from the menu.
Creating filters allows user to customize the project checker view. To create a new filter, click "New Filter..." button, select the model items you would like to
filter and severity level you would like to see.
When you select a class in the class list, the attributes list will show only the attributes of that class. You can
show all attributes with the "Show All" button below the attributes.
You can add and view notes of a class and attribute that you create from the schema browser's "Notes" toolbar button.
These notes are included in any generated documentation, exported to LDIF under the "DESCR" tag and exported in the .SCH
as a comment.
Now, it supports multiple LDAP names just like ICE.
This new editor allows you to view DS Trace files. You can also enter a range of filtered
dates into the combo boxes at the top to filter the trace based on date and time.
To use this editor, you will have to import your ds trace files and name them with
a .log extension. You can import these log files by dragging and dropping them from
your favorite file browser or the desktop to the resources folder.
The DS Trace Viewer allows you to view the trace with the xml highlighted.
This can be helpful when you want to see the various parts of the xml documents
in your trace file.
Within the DS Trace Viewer, you can bring up a find dialog to quickly search the file
for the content you are interested in. Bring up the dialog either by clicking on the
"search" icon or by pressing "ctrl-f" or by going to Edit -> Find/Replace.
