Apart from the new look and feel of the Schema map editor, multiple new features have been added for user convenience.

  • Browser-based addition of Identity Vault classes/attributes and Application classes/attributes
  • Multiple selection of attributes are provided to help users add multiple attributes(Identity Vault attributes and Application attributes) to a class.
  • Browser provides the option to view auxiliary attributes of a class
  • Information widgets are added to each browser to assist the user in selecting multiple attributes
  • Browsers for Add Application Class and Add Application Attributes shows the custom application icon displayed in the top left corner
  • Edit option is provided in the context menu so that the user is able to edit a selected mapping
  • Warning message is displayed in the editor if there are no mappings present
  • Enablement and Disablement of toolbar menu items and context menu items have been handled effectively

2.Clear Option in Filter Editor

The Filter Editor now provides a Clear button in the editors toolbar. This option allows the user to clear the contents of the Filter Editor. The editor appears in its default state upon clearing the contents.

3.CTRL+A to Select All Classes/Attributes in Filter Editor

The Filter Editor now provides a way to select all of the classes/attributes within the editor through the keyboard shortcut CTRL+A.

4.Deploy Filter Directly from the Filter Editor

The Filter editor now provides a way to deploy the filter directly. The Deploy button, highlighted in the following image, allows you to easily deploy the filter of the driver shown in the Filter Editor. For example, selecting the Deploy button in the following image deploys the driver filter of the Delimited Text driver.

5. Schema Map Policy Editor Mapping Fields Are Now Editable

The Schema Map policy editor now allows the user to manually edit the mapping fields (ID Vault Class/attributes and Application class/attributes). Before this enhancement, users were forced to choose an existing class/attribute without the flexibility to provide custom classes/attributes in the mapping. Manual editing is now enabled because users may have some attributes which do not show up in the schema because they do not need to be synchronized. They are just required to trigger some business logic. In order to help the user define such attributes, manual editing has been provided. In case the user wishes to choose an existing class/attribute, the list can be traversed through the up/down arrow keys.

6. Schema Map Auto-Sorting

The Schema Map editor now has auto-sorting capability. Mappings get sorted automatically when added based on the Identity Vault class/attribute name. Before this enhancement, the latest mapping added would get added at the topmost row of the editor. We now have mappings sorted alphabetically and hence the editor appears more organized.
