The following terms and acronyms are used in this document:
Business Continuity Cluster (BCC): A set of two or more distinct clusters used to provide business continuance failover if a disaster destroys one of the clusters. In such a disaster, the services running on the destroyed cluster would fail over to another geographically dispersed cluster.
Disaster: Any natural or man-made event that causes all of the nodes in an individual cluster to fail. A disaster generally is caused by the physical destruction of the cluster hardware, but not always.
Virtual File System (VFS): VFS interfaces allow for scripting of commands and third-party control to manage servers and to get server health and statistical information. VFS files are on the _ADMIN volume of a NetWare® 6.x or greater server. For complete VFS developer information, see NDK: Virtual File Services.
