This section alphabetically lists the string functions in the string.h file and describes their purpose, syntax, parameters, and return values. The string.h file includes ANSI and POSIX functions with some Novell® additions.
The functions prefixed with “Lstr” are multibyte interfaces for working with double-byte characters in the local code page.
