A record consists of three SIDF objects: the data set header, the data set information, and the data set data. A subrecord consists of the data set subheader plus the remaining data from the data set information and/or data set data (data that could not fit into the record). The terms record and subrecord are used only when referring to NWSMSetNewRecordHeader, NWSMUpdateRecordHeader, and NWSMGetRecordHeaderOnly.
