NWPA is the producer of this event. This is a consumable event that is sent when any CDM reports an adapter error. An NLM can register to receive this event and decide what action to take. The Hardware Instance Number (HIN) is returned as a LONG within the first 4 bytes of the shortEventData field of the EventBlockStruct structure. This HIN uniquely identifies the adapter in error.
