Managing DirXML

This section will guide you through DirXML^® administration tasks. Before you begin, make sure you have installed the drivers you want to use for your application, directory, or database.

You can now manage and configure all of your DirXML objects in Novell^® eDirectory using browser-based iManager. For example, iManager displays the sequence of rule execution on the Publisher and Subscriber channels, as shown in the following graphic:

NOTE:  iManager requires eDirectory 8.7. If you aren't using this version of eDirectory, you can still use ConsoleOne to manage DirXML. Steps for completing DirXML management tasks using ConsoleOne are detailed in a separate document. See DirXML Administration.
