Step Three: Configure the LDAP Server to Support SSL

On All Platforms

1. In ConsoleOne^TM, access the properties for the LDAP server object.

2. Click the SSL/TLS Configuration tab.

3. Select an SSL Certificate object in the Server Certificate field.

   NOTE:  These objects were created at the time eDirectory^TM was installed.

4. Make note of the SSL port (typically 636).

5. Make sure the Disable SSL Port option is not selected.

6. Save your changes.

7. Access the LDAP server's properties again and click Refresh NLDAP Server Now on the General tab.
