A Close-Up of Each System

When you set up Novell Nsure Resources, you will select drivers for one HR system, one messaging system, and one or more account systems. A fundamental characteristic of this solution is that the HR system is the primary originator of employee data, so most of the information starts there and moves to the Workforce Tree where the data can be accessed by other systems. Of course, there are some cases where data does not originate in the HR system; an obvious example is an e-mail address. As you would expect, this attribute is generated and owned by the messaging system.

Following are detailed diagrams that show the data flow for shared attributes in each system.
