Managing Your Excelerator Products

We recommend you use the Velocity Management Suite to manage multiple Excelerator XL 1.0 cache devices.

• System Controller lets you manage a cache device or a group of devices at the same time, providing more effective management of your entire network.
• Content Controller lets you preposition and manage content on your entire network.

If you plan to manage Excelerator XL 1.0 devices using the management suite, you must prepare each device for management. For instructions, see "Preparing Cache Devices for Management" in the Volera System Controller Deployment Guide.
