When you associate GroupWise users with LDAP users (such as users in NetIQ eDirectory or Microsoft Active Directory), the MTA handles automatic synchronization of user information from the LDAP directory to GroupWise on a regular schedule. For background information, see Section 6.1.2, Configuring User Synchronization for an LDAP Directory.
You can manually perform the user synchronization if information has changed in the LDAP directory, and you want to see it immediately in GroupWise.
In the GroupWise Admin console, browse to and click the name of a user.
Click Synchronize.
