Possible Cause(s)
A failure occurred when positioning file pointers during an explicit file copy
function. Cannot open the specified file or directory. The user may not have
rights to the file or directory.
Action(s)
Make sure the user has the necessary network rights to access the directories
or files in the post office. You can check user access rights to the file or
directory using the RIGHTS command. To find out what rights a user should have in
a post office, see Check Network Access for
Mapped Drive Connections.
Possible Cause(s)
The user's network connection to the post office has been lost.
Action(s)
Make sure that necessary drives are still correctly mapped. If not, reboot the
workstation. If this error occurs repeatedly, stabilize the network
connectivity for the workstation.
Possible Cause(s)
If this error occurs when a specific user starts the GroupWise client, that user database may be damaged.
Action(s)
Check and, if necessary, repair the database. Look up "maintain GroupWise,
mailbox and library databases" in GroupWise Administrator Help, then display
Mailbox/Library Maintenance.
Possible Cause(s)
The user tried to use Find in an archived folder in the 16-bit GroupWise
client.
Action(s)
None. Find in an archived folder is not currently supported in the 16-bit
client.
