Possible Cause(s)
The POA defaults to TCP/IP communication, but the necessary TCP/IP information is not configured in GroupWise Administrator. The default TCP port used by the POA (1667) is in use by another program.

Action(s)
To enable TCP/IP communication, configure the POA for TCP/IP communication in GroupWise Administrator. Look up "IP address" in GroupWise Administrator Help, then display Provide POA Network Address to Enable Client/Server.

Action(s)
To disable TCP/IP communication, use the /notcpip switch when starting the POA.
