On NetWare, use a Target Service Agent (GWTSA or TSAFS) with a supported backup program or other backup software of choice to regularly back up all databases in each post office to a secure location. For details about how to use a Target Service Agent, see Target Service Agents.

On Linux and Windows, use your backup software of choice to back up each post office to a secure location. For a list of compatible products, see the Partner Product Guide. You can also use the GroupWise Database Copy utility (DBCopy) and the GroupWise Time Stamp utility (GWTMSTMP) to assist with backups. For details about how to use these utilities, see Standalone Database Maintenance Programs.
