In a Heartbeat cluster, you must install the GroupWise® software on each node in the cluster. Before you run the GroupWise Installation program to install updated software, make sure you know all the nodes where the GroupWise software is already installed.
It is very important to update, at the same time, all nodes where each domain and post office can fail over because each domain and post office should be serviced by only one version of the agent software. If you do not update all nodes at once, there is the potential for a domain or post office to be serviced by a different version of the agent software during a failover situation. This can cause database problems.
