33.5 Internet Agent Clustering Worksheet

Item

Explanation

1) Internet Agent Nodes:

List the nodes where you want the Internet Agent to be able to fail over. Identify each node by its DNS hostname and the IP address that it is physically configured with.

For more information, see Section 33.1.1, Planning a Cluster Resource Group for the Internet Agent.

2) Internet Agent Cluster Resource Group:

Specify the name of the cluster resource group to hold the resources required for the Internet Agent.

For more information, see Section 15.1.1, Planning a Domain for the Internet Agent.

3) Native Heartbeat Resources:

  • EVMS container

  • File system

  • Secondary IP address

List names for the native Heartbeat resources and the values for their parameters to be used in the Internet Agent cluster resource group.

For more information, see Section 33.1.1, Planning a Cluster Resource Group for the Internet Agent.

4) GroupWise Resources:

  • MTA

  • Internet Agent

List the names for the GroupWise resources and the values for their parameters to be used in the Internet Agent cluster resource group.

For more information, see Section 33.1.1, Planning a Cluster Resource Group for the Internet Agent

5) Internet Agent Constraints:

  • Place

  • Order

  • Colocation

Specify the Heartbeat constraints that you want to put on the Internet Agent cluster resource group to control what nodes it can run on.

For more information, see Section 15.1.3, Determining an Appropriate Failover List for the Internet Agent

6) Internet Agent Domain Name:

Domain Directory:

Mount Point:

Specify a unique name for the Internet Agent domain. Specify the directory on the shared storage partition where you want to create the new domain. Specify the mount point on each node where you plan to mount the domain.

For more information, see Section 15.1.1, Planning a Domain for the Internet Agent.

7) MTA Network Information:

  • Secondary IP address

  • Message transfer port

  • HTTP port

Record the MTA network address information that you will need as you install the MTA.

For more information, see Section 15.1.7, Planning the MTA Installation.

8) Internet Agent Network Information:

  • Secondary IP address

  • HTTP port

Record the Internet Agent network address information that you will need to install the Internet Agent.

For more information, see Section 15.1.8, Planning the Internet Agent Installation.
