Click Tools > Options, then double-click Environment.

Click the Default Actions tab.

Select if you want to View in a new window or Open attachment.

If you select to View in a new window, the attachment is opened in a new window with the program associated with the file type.

Select if you want to be warned if the attachment is larger then what you specify in kilobytes.

Click OK.
