For sites which have deployed SOCKS firewalls, ICS provides a SOCKS Client service to redirect all forward proxy traffic through the firewall. Redirecting ICS traffic to the SOCKS firewall might significantly reduce ICS performance.
ICS currently supports both SOCKS v4 and SOCKS v5 protocols.
