7.3 Using the DirXML Command Line Utility

The DirXML® Command Line utility provides command line access to manage the driver. This utility is not a replacement for iManager or Designer. The primary use of this utility is to allow you to create platform-specific scripts to manage the driver.

For example, you could create a shell script on Linux to check the status of the driver. See Section A.0, The DirXML Command Line Utility for information about the DirXML Command Line utility. For daily tasks, use iManager or Designer.
