Version 6 of Novell Integration Manager is primarily a re-branding release rather than a features release. Nevertheless, some new features have been added:

| Re-branding | We've changed the name of exteNd Composer to Novell Integration Manager. Note: In some places in the user interface, and in Integration Manager file and directory names, you will still see the name "exteNd Composer". |
| New Connects | Integration Manager now offers Connects for PeopleSoft, Baan, J.D. Edwards, Lawson, Oracle Applications, and Siebel. These Connects support connection pooling. |
| Process Manager Engine Clustering Support | The Process Manager engine now supports clustering, providing improved performance and failover support. |
| Identity Manager Driver Development | Integration Manager now supports the development of drivers for Novell Identity Manager 2 and higher.

| Updated MySQL support | Integration Manager supports the latest version of MySQL. |
| Updated JBoss support |
Integration Manager supports the latest version of the JBoss application server. |
| Sun JSSE/JCE Encryption |
Integration Manager now supports Sun JSSE/JCE encryption technology. Phaos encryption is no longer supported. |
