20.0 Changing from Kablink Teaming 2.1 to Novell Teaming 2.1

After you obtain the license and download the Novell Teaming 2.1 software:

1. Stop Kablink Teaming.

2. In the directory where you downloaded the Novell Teaming 2.1 software, rename the license file that came with the software to the name license-key.xml.

   The Novell Teaming Installation program does not start unless there is a license-key.xml file in the same directory with the Installation program.

3. Install Novell Teaming using the same options that you used to install Kablink Teaming, as described in:

   • Section 3.0, Planning a Basic Teaming Installation

   • Section 8.0, Planning an Advanced Teaming Installation

4. Start Novell Teaming, as described for the platform where you installed Teaming:

   • Section 4.1.7, Starting Teaming on Linux

   • Section 4.2.4, Running Teaming as a Windows Service

   • Section 4.2.5, Running Teaming as a Windows Application

5. Verify that your Teaming license has been updated from Kablink to Novell:

   1. Log in to the Teaming site as the Teaming administrator.

   2. Click Manage > Site Administration > Reports > Licensing.

   3. Verify that a Novell Teaming license is now listed.
