1. (Optional) Create an LDAP Authentication Profile

If you want iChain to pass user credentials to eGuide, you must create an LDAP authetication profile.

Before authentication will work with the proxy services, you need to create an authentication profile that will point the authentication requests to the LDAP data source.

To create an LDAP authentication profile:

1. Open the iChain browser-based administration tool and click Configure > Authentication > Insert.

2. Name the authentication profile ldap.

3. Select LDAP Authentication and LDAP Options.

4. Enter the IP address of your internal eDirectory^TM server for the LDAP Server Address.

5. Enter the LDAP username and password.

6. Select Use Distinguished Name for the LDAP Login Name Format.

7. Click Insert to add an LDAP context that contains all authenticating users and click OK.

8. Click OK > Apply.
