Due to extensive upgrades in the underlying system files, there is no upgrade path to Excelerator 2.3. Therefore, you cannot upgrade an appliance or cache device from a previous version of Novell ICS or Excelerator 2.x to version 2.3. Instead you must perform a new installation.
