This release introduces the following new feature:
LDAP Proxy 1.6 introduces support for multi-factor authentication powered by the Advanced Authentication Framework. This helps to protect your data using a more advanced way of authentication than the single-factor authentication. After you configure the multi-factor authentication for your LDAP Proxy server, all users enrolled for this method will be authenticated using various authenticators such as Smartphone, TOTP etc. For more information, see Configuring Multi-Factor Authentication for LDAP Proxy in the NetIQ LDAP Proxy 1.6 Installation Guide.

Issue: The LDAP Proxy installation process fails to lay down the novell-getcore script which is used to analyze the reason of the LDAP Proxy server crash. (Bug 316047)
Issue: The LDAP Proxy server crashes while processing the Start TLS request. (Bug 297029)
Issue: The LDAP Proxy server configured with TLS crashes when auditing is enabled. (Bug 285378)
