These instructions are for installing Account Management 3.0.2 (also known as Support Pack 2) to existing Account Management 3.0 systems.
Novell® Account Management 3.0.2 includes all of the changes introduced with Support Pack 1. You do not need to install Support Pack 1 before you upgrade to Account Management 3.0.2.
Back up your ASAM directory and related files before you begin the upgrade process.
First-Time Installation: If you are installing Account Management 3.0 for the first time, you can disregard this document. Instead, follow the installation procedures outlined in the Quick Start guides for installation and configuration of Account Management.
Except to use some of the Platform Services features that are new with Account Management 3.0.2, there are no dependencies between the changes introduced by Account Management 3.0.2 for Core Services and for Platform Services. You can install their updates independently. However, if you update Core Services first, you can use the Web interface to obtain the Account Management 3.0.2 distributions for Platform Services.
