Novell® NterpriseTM Branch OfficeTM can easily be configured and managed to work with your existing network. The best way to manage the appliance is by using Nterprise Branch Office Web Administrator, a browser-based management tool. Web Administrator includes cross-checking, helpful messages, and other features to ensure the appliance is configured for optimal performance.
Although you can also use commands at the command line to administer the appliance (see Using the Command Line ), we strongly recommend that you use Web Administrator whenever possible. Nterprise Branch Office also provides a Web-based version of the command line called Direct Action Response Command Interface (DARCI). You can access DARCI by adding /DARCI to the IP address of the appliance in your Web browser. For example, HTTPS://appliance_IP_address:2222/DARCI.
You can manage the IP address, file access protocols, user authentication, and administrative access. In addition, you can set up printers, data replication, and date and time on the appliance.
