Monitoring the Appliance

As an administrator, you should periodically check the health of your Novell^® Nterprise^TM Branch Office^TM appliance. Also, you might need to troubleshoot network conflicts or other issues on the appliance. The Monitoring and Statistics panel helps you with such tasks as checking the appliance's health status and gathering information about disk status and disk usage.

On the Monitoring and Diagnostics Panel, you can do the following:

• Monitor the appliance status
• Monitor appliance performance
• Monitor storage capacity
• View hardware configuration
• Ping Addresses
• Record the route between the your computer and another server (Traceroute)
• Look up an address' associated DNS name
