Click Configuration > Printer Drivers.
From the Select Operating System drop-down menu, select the operating system you want to select drivers for.
In the Printer Drivers for Selected Operating System box, select the printer driver you want to set.
Do one of the following:
NOTE: If you click Add from System, you can add only drivers that are designed for the version of the operating system that is currently running on your workstation. For example, if you are running the Web Administrator on a Windows 2000 workstation, you can add only Windows 2000 drivers. If you click Add from File, any driver of any type can be added from the currently running OS. For example, if you are running the Web Administrator on Windows 98, you can add a driver for Window XP clients.
Click Configuration > Printer Drivers.
From the Select Operating System drop-down menu, select the operating system you want to delete drivers for.
In the Printer Drivers for Selected Operating System box, select the printer driver you want to delete, then click Delete.
Your network printers might require printer drivers for a different operating system that cannot be installed except by extracting them from a zip file on the same operating system.
Some drivers, such as the HP 3 and 4 drivers owned by Microsoft, can be extracted only from the same operating system. This means that you can get drivers from a Windows 2000 CAB file only if you are using a Windows 2000 workstation. However, not all drivers have this limitation, so we suggest that you try to install the drivers from the Nterprise Branch Office Administrator Managing Printer Drivers page first. See Adding a Printer Driver .
If you need to add drivers for platforms you are not work from, you can add these drivers to the list of available printer drivers by completing the following steps.
Locate the central office server that is running NDPS® Broker version 3.03 June 10, 2002, and has the drivers that you want.
Map a drive to the sys:ndps\resdir\english\prndrv\operating_system directory for the platform that you want to copy drivers for.
In the operating system directory, locate the ndpstoc.ini file.
Open the ndpstoc.ini file in Wordpad and locate the driver you want.
The name of the driver is in a string such as
"HP LaserJet 4"="","","ZIP=356679","3B0BF7C3","HP4FAM.INF"
The "3B0BF7C3" field is the name of the directory that has the driver files. This directory is the directory you need to copy to the appliance.
Locate the driver directory associated with the driver and listed in the ndpstoc.ini file.
Copy the print driver directory to the Nterprise Branch Office data:ndps\resdir\english\prndrv\os directory.
Repeat Step 2 through Step 6 for additional drivers you want to add to the appliance.
After all the drivers you want are copied to the appliance, restart the appliance and the drivers will automatically be added to the print drivers database on the appliance.
