You can set up access to printers from the Novell® NterpriseTM Branch OfficeTM appliance. Before you can add printer drivers, you must have the Novell iPrint Client installed on the workstation you use to administer the appliance. If you do not have the software installed, you are prompted to install it before you can add printers.
IMPORTANT: If users will access printers through the appliance's DNS name, you must set the DNS name before you create printers. The DNS name or IP address of the appliance is a part of the printer name that users need to access the printer.
If the appliance DNS name was not set previously, set it. The appliance will reboot before you can continue. See Configuring DNS Server Settings .
If Nterprise Branch Office appliance uses an internal address within the gateway router, this internal address is a part of the iPrint configuration. Some routers such as SMC routers, will not route the internal address on the external side. This problem does not occur with Linksys routers.
