If you have enabled telnet, you can manage the appliance using commands from a workstation with a Telnet connection to the appliance. See Setting Administrative Access through Specific Protocols .
IMPORTANT: Telnet should not be enabled indefinitely. Telnet access is not password protected. When the Telnet protocol is enabled, all users potentially have access to the Nterprise Branch Office console. Users without Supervisor rights are not able to execute commands, but they can monitor console activity. Enable the Telnet protocol only in cases when the supervisor does not have physical access to the Nterprise Branch Office appliance and specific commands need to be executed at the console. After the necessary commands have been executed, disable the Telnet protocol immediately.
