Restoring Data from the Central Office to the Branch Office Appliance

You can use the set replication restore update command to copy updated files on the corporate server to the Branch Office appliance. This command is useful in cases where, because of Branch Office failure, users have been accessing their data at the central office site and you need to copy those files back to the Branch Office appliance.

By setting this command to Yes, newer files at the central office overwrite older files at the branch office. When you set this command to No, files are not overwritten on the appliance, even if newer files exist at the central office. (See .)

Type the command restore to begin the process.

IMPORTANT:  All files must be closed on the central office pool or volume when restoring data back to the Branch Office appliance. If any files are open, the attempted restore operation will fail for that pool or volume.
