IDXlock manager service:Gateway:managing/IDXThis section describes how to obtain the status of file locks and how to release existing locks. Before using the instructions in this section, you should be familiar with the concept of file locking. If you are not familiar with this topic, see "NFS Gateway File Lock Control" under "Understanding."
NOTE: The Lock Manager service does not start automatically when you start the NFS server. If you did not start this service during installation, you must start it as described in "Starting a Service Using NFSADMIN."
Start at the NFSADMIN Main Menu and select a volume from the list of volumes displayed on the right panel of the screen.
Refer to "NFS Gateway Volumes List in NFSADMIN" for details on displaying the gateway volumes list.
View the lock information by doing one of the following:

The lock information for the selected volume is displayed.

You have the option to delete the lock for the volume. To do this, select the lock and click Delete.
After viewing the details, click Cancel to return to the main menu.
This form contains the following fields:
Filename---the name of the locked file.
Lock Type---the type of lock (shared or exclusive).
Lock Length---the range of the lock (partial or whole).
Start at the NFSADMIN Main Menu and click NFS Gateway > Lock Status > By Connection.
Right-click a specific connection to display detailed information about the lock.
The Lock Information Form is displayed.
After viewing the details, click Close to return to the main menu.
This form contains the following fields:
Conn. No---the id assigned to the connection.
Conn. Name---the name of the connection on which the files are locked.
