Explanation: Compression initialization failed because of lack of short-term memory.

Action: Use the SET command (with option 1) to see how much maximum short-term memory is used by the following parameters:

Minimum Packet Receive Buffers

Maximum Packet Receive Buffers

Maximum Physical Receive Packet Size

Use the SET command to reduce the amount of memory used by the parameters previously listed or upgrade yourPC to have more memory. One port uses about 140K short-term memory when compression isenabled.
