4.3 Deleting a Folder

Folders in the My Files area can be deleted and then restored from the trash at a later time. Folders in Net Folders must be purged and cannot be recovered.

  1. Navigate to the folder or location that contains the folder that you want to rename.

  2. (Optional) To move a folder to the trash, select the check box next to the folder that you want to move to the trash, then click Delete.

    or

    If you are in the folder that you want to move to the trash, click the Configure icon next to the folder name, then click Delete Folder.

    The option to delete (move to the trash) is available only for folders in the My Files area. To remove folders from Net Folders, you must purge them.

  3. (Optional) To purge the folder and permanently delete it, click More > Purge

    IMPORTANT:Purged items are permanently deleted from the Filr system as well as from the file system (for files in Net Folders), and cannot be recovered.

  4. Click Yes.
