6.9 Repairing the Configuration Datastore

The configuration datastore is an embedded version of eDirectory 8.8. If it becomes corrupted, you can run DSRepair to fix it. Or you can restore a recent backup. To restore a backup, see Section 2.3, Restoring an Administration Console Configuration.

To run DSRepair:

  1. In a browser, enter the following URL.

    http://<ip_address>:8028/nds

    Replace <ip_address> with the IP address of your Administration Console.

  2. At the login prompt, enter the username and password of the admin user for the Administration Console.

    The NDS® iMonitor application is launched. For more information, see Accessing iMonitor.

  3. In the View bar, select the Repair icon.
