A.1 SSL VPN Fails to Connect on a Windows 7 Machine

The SSL VPN client installation on a Windows 7 message fails after authentication. To enable SSL VPN connection on a Windows 7 machine, do the following:

  1. Browse and open the <home>/<User> folder.

  2. Log in to SSL VPN by using a supported browser.

  3. Specify the username and password when prompted, then click OK.

  4. When the status of Downloading the client is 100 %, the novl-sslvpn-service-install.exe file is copied to <home>/<User> folder.

  5. Copy this file to another location.

  6. The SSL VPN connection that you are trying to establish fails.

  7. Close the browser.

  8. Double click novl-sslvpn-service-install.exe to install.

  9. Log in to SSL VPN from another instance of the browser.

    The SSL VPN connection is established successfully.
