Using filters and event notifications, Novell® Audit is capable of reporting when a specific type of event occurs, or when it does not occur. This section provides the information you need to configure your system filters and notifications.
By default, your main logging channel receives all events. Notifications are required only if you want to send specific events to a channel other than your main logging channel.
IMPORTANT:Do not send notifications to your main logging channel, because this results in duplicate logged events.
