Upgrading Downed Servers

Upgrades to Novell Small Business Suite 6.6 are performed on a running server from the server GUI console. Down server upgrades of Novell Small Business Suite servers running NetWare 4.2 are no longer supported.

In certain situations, you can work with Novell Technical Services to complete a down-server upgrade. For example, this might be necessary if:

• An in-place or remote upgrade on a running server fails at some point after the Viewing the Health Check Summary step completes.
• After the failure, the upgrade cannot be restarted.
