Even though you might not be using the ZENworks Desktop Management Agent to authenticate through the ZENworks Middle Tier Server, if you want to use ZENworks to manage updates to the Novell Client or other applications, you need to install the Desktop Management Agent on your workstations because its files include updates that the Novell Client uses with ZENworks Desktop Management.
