Installing iManager 2.5 Plug-ins

iManager is a browser-based configuration utility that helps you configure Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and filters on Novell BorderManager 3.8 servers. You need to do some configuration to get the iManager plug-ins.

Novell Small Business Suite 6.6 comes with iManager 2.5 by default. To work with Novell BorderManager 3.8, you must manually install the plug-ins.

  1. Launch iManager 2.5 by entering the specific IP address of the server (https://ip_address/nps/iManager.html) in the Address field of your browser.

  2. Click the Configure icon at the top of the iManager interface.

  3. In the left panel, click Module Installation > Available Novell-Plug-in Modules.

  4. Select each plug-in that you want to install, then click Install.

  5. Restart Tomcat on the server.

    To stop Tomcat, enter tcadmdn at the System Console prompt.

    To start Tomcat, enter tomcat4 at the System Console prompt.
