Use the Security Equal To page to view or change the list of objects that this user is security equivalent to.

Security Equal To

This list specifies the objects that this user is security equivalent to.

• Each entry in the list is a distinguished name of an object in the NDS* tree.

• To add an object to the list, click Add and then browse for the object.

• To remove an object from the list, click the object and then click Delete.

• You can also use the Insert and Delete keys to add and remove objects.

• The list of objects is stored in the NDS database as the Security Equals property of the User object.

Notes and Tips

• You do not need to add the following objects to this page, because the user is implicitly security equivalent to these:

  • The [Public] trustee
  • Containers above the User object, including [Root]

• If you add an object to this page, the system automatically adds this user to that object's security equal to me property.
