Trustees of This Object
Use the Trustees of This Object page to view or change the list of trustees for this object.

- To add a new trustee, click Add Trustee, browse for the object you want to set up as the trustee, and then make the rights assignment.
If you need help browsing for the object or making the rights assignment, click Help in the dialog box.
- To remove a trustee, click the trustee and then click Delete Trustee.
- You can also use the Insert and Delete keys to add and remove trustees.
- To view or change the rights assignments for an existing trustee, click the trustee and then click Assigned Rights.
- Changes you make to the trustee list are not saved until you click OK or Apply. See Using Property Pages.

- The trustee list is stored in the NDS* database in the access control list (ACL) of this object.
The ACL is sometimes called the Object Trustees property.
- Objects not listed on this page do not have explicit rights to this object. However, they might have effective rights to this object. See How Rights Work.
- Removing a trustee, or removing particular rights from a trustee, does not effectively deny those rights if the trustee is security equivalent to another object that effectively has those rights. See How Rights Work.
- To view a trustee's effective rights to this object, click the trustee and then click Effective Rights.
- To view the effective rights of an object not listed on this page, click Effective Rights and then click the browse button to find the object.
