NDS Manager

Purpose

Use at a Windows* 95, 98 or NT* workstation to manage NDS^® partitions and replicas on NetWare servers.

The NDS Manager^TM utility (NDSMGR32.EXE) provides:

• Partitioning and replication services for the NDS database, as well as repair capabilities for repairing the database from a client workstation
• Server and NDS services at a single client location, which reduces the need for administrators to use RCONSOLE or to work directly with a server console
• Version update capability so that any or all NetWare servers in a network can be updated to a newer version of the DS.NLM file

NOTE:  NDS Manager replaces the Partition Manager utility that was accessed from the Tools menu in NetWare Administrator in earlier versions of NetWare. NDS Manager has a graphical, hierarchical browser and many new features that were not available in Partition Manager.

Starting NDS Manager

NDS Manager can be run as a standalone utility from SYS:PUBLIC\WIN32.
