B.0 Install Command Line Options

You can use command line options when initiating the NetWare installation executable (install.exe) from either DOS or a network drive. (See Section 4.2, Starting the Installation Program.)

/IIPX decimal_number

Purpose	Allows a specific internal net address to be used for the server being installed.
Values	1 to 99999999
Example	install /IIPX 38483933

/SERVER_ID hexadecimal_number

Purpose	Allows a specific server ID to be used for the server being installed.
Values	1 to FFFFFFFF
Example	install /SERVER_ID 1357ABCD

/SERVER_LOG = string

Purpose	Designates where an installation log file will be created.
Values	Existing DOS path up to 255 characters
Example	install /SERVER_LOG=c:\tmp\error.log
