Specify the path to NWCONFIG if you moved it from the default directory.

Using NWCONFIG

The following table describes each option found on the NWCONFIG main menu.

Driver Options

This functionality has been moved to the Hardware Detection utility, hdetect.nlm.

Legacy Disk Options

These options are now provided by Novell iManager, Novell Storage Services Management utility (nssmu.nlm), and Novell Remote Manager (NRM).

License Option

Use iManager to install or delete licenses.

Copy Files Option

Copy NetWare files to various directories on volume sys:.

Directory Options

Install and remove eDirectory. Upgrade mounted volumes into the eDirectory tree. Perform eDirectory tree backup and restore options Extend schema.

NCF Files Options

Create and edit the startup.ncf and autoexec.ncf files.

Multi CPU Options

This functionality has been moved to the Hardware Detection utility, hdetect.nlm.

Product Options

Install and configure additional NetWare or third-party products; remove additional products from the server. Add an additional language to the server or change the server language.

Exit

Exit NWCONFIG.
