Explanation:  To install products, the above file must be accessible.

Action:  Make sure volume SYS: is mounted. (Switch to the console screen and enter volumes.) If it is, restore the PRODUCTS.DAT file from backup or from some other source; then retry the action. If the problem persists, contact a Novell support provider.
