If you are unsure about how to use a command line utility, type the utility name with the /? option at the command line. For example, to get help on the RIGHTS utility, type the following command:

Hardware documentation Many network problems occur because of malfunctioning hardware. If you can isolate a problem to a certain computer component or cable segment, check the manuals that came with the hardware involved.
