Configuring an Application for Free Distribution through User Associations

1. In ConsoleOne^®, right-click the Application object for the application you want to distribute freely > click Properties.

2. Click the Associations tab.

3. Click Add to add the users you want.

   You can add users through their User objects, through Group objects, or through container objects.

4. Click the OnDemand tab, then make sure the Enable OnDemand Services to Track Usage of This Application option is disabled.

   IMPORTANT:  This option must be disabled. Otherwise, when launching the application users will receive an error message stating that there are no active purchases for the application and the application will fail to launch.

5. Click OK to save the associations.
