Archive Database: The archive database now uses MySQL to organize and host file versions, which greatly reduces the time involved in searching for file versions. It also supports filenames with UTF-8 characters.

Versioning Process: The versioning process can use NSS pool snapshot technology to capture file versions at the end of an epoch. This ensures a point-in-time copy of all file versions, instead of copying files from the original files.

Archive Log: You can view the log in the Archive Versioning plug-in to iManager, the server logger screen, or sys:\arkManager\log.

Novell Storage Services File Version Utility for Windows: You can now retrieve files natively from your Windows computer with the Versions function of the NSS File Version Utility. Novell NetStorage Archive Function: Updates were made in the Novell NetStorage Archive function. The interface now allows you to retrieve file versions, even if the original parent directory is deleted or renamed.
