Novell® Archive and Version Services 2.0 for NetWare® captures and stores periodic versions of your network files in an archive database. As you work, the archive server transparently saves versions of your network files that you create, modify, or rename during a scheduled interval. If you rename or delete a directory or file, then create another one with the same name, the archive distinguishes those instances and maintains sets of the related versions. Over time, the archive database reflects the history of your network files and directories.
Archive and Version Services allows you to search for a previous version of a file and restore it in only a few minutes. You can access file versions from anywhere, at any time, without the help of your system administrator.
